ONWAY SPORTS is a trading name of Foshan Izumi Metals Industrial Co., Ltd. (“ONWAY”, “we”, “us”), a camping furniture manufacturer located in Lishui, Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong, China. This policy explains what personal data we collect through onwaysports.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We are a business-to-business manufacturer: this website is intended for brand, retail and trade buyers, not consumers.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry form we collect your name, email address, company name, country, order quantity range, sales channel, and the message you write. Providing this information is voluntary, but we cannot respond to an inquiry without contact details.

Information collected automatically. Our server records standard technical data with each visit and form submission: IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request. If you arrive from an advertisement, the landing page URL may include campaign identifiers (such as UTM parameters or an ad-click reference), which we store together with your inquiry so we know which channel it came from.

How we use it

• Answering your inquiry. We use your contact details and message to respond, quote, and follow up on a potential business relationship.
• Spam filtering. Inquiries are automatically scored against spam signals (for example, submission speed and known spam patterns) before they reach our sales team. Messages classified as spam are quarantined rather than deleted immediately, and the classification is reviewed by a person before anything is discarded. No decision with legal or similarly significant effect on you is made solely by this filter.
• Advertising measurement. We advertise on Google and on ChatGPT (OpenAI). To measure whether those ads lead to genuine inquiries, we use these providers’ conversion tools (Google tags, and the OpenAI Pixel with its Conversions API). When you submit an inquiry after clicking an ad, a conversion event is reported to the relevant provider. As part of this measurement, your email address may be converted into an irreversible hashed code and shared with the advertising provider to confirm the conversion; the provider cannot read the address itself from the hash. We do not share your message content, company details, or any other form fields with advertising providers.
• Security. Technical logs are used to protect the site against abuse and unauthorized access.

Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process inquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a business inquiry you initiated, and protecting our site from spam and abuse) and, where required for non-essential cookies or advertising identifiers, consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses strictly necessary cookies for basic operation, analytics cookies (see “Website analytics” below), and advertising measurement technologies (described above) on landing pages reached from ads. We do not use cookies to build profiles for third-party resale.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage — pages visited, approximate region, device type — so we can improve the site. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics cookies are disabled by default via Google Consent Mode; Google then receives only cookieless, aggregated signals that are not linked to you. Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under its own privacy terms, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. You can opt out anywhere using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Where your data goes

Our web server is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Inquiry data is accessed by our sales and engineering team in Foshan, China. Advertising conversion data (hashed, as described above) is processed by Google and OpenAI under their own privacy terms. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on the safeguards provided by our processors, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Retention

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any resulting business relationship, and afterwards for our legitimate record-keeping. Quarantined spam is deleted after review. You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the ad measurement described above.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date.
